In 2017, OC,SH was pleased to host official Cruise Nights in S Elgin IL at Beef Villa, the location for the pre- & post-surgery parties before & after my 2011 open heart surgery.
Beef Villa had also hosted weekly Saturday cruise nights in the early 2000s for a former automotive club, the Kane County Gearheads. With my then family of Monte Carlos, I attended these regularly & met many auto enthusiasts in the greater Elgin IL area. At that time, if you hadn’t arrived by 4:30p, you weren’t likely to find a parking spot.
The announcement of the 2017 Official OC,SH Cruise Nights came in the form of a “Road Trips & Working” post, Wednesday, 08/09/2017.
