Take place Sundays, July 11 – 18 – 25, 3p-6p.

Something New
While “cruise nights” are traditional, not sure I’ve ever heard of “cruise days”.
The late Sunday afternoon timeframe is interesting, with the 3p-6p schedule “perfectly timed” between the end of area Sunday shows & the start of evening gatherings.
Coupled with Mozzafiato’s awesome treat offerings, this is a great opportunity.
Historic Connection
The location is along Historic US 20 in Elgin IL, my hometown. I’ve lived here nearly my entire life & frequently travel US 20 in the greater Elgin area.
I’ve also driven US 20 in many places across the country, including in the Boston MA area during my 2010 road trip.
Then, a year later, I journeyed along the Lebanon OR to Newport OR stretch during my 2011 “Coast-to-Coast” road trip (read about that in this 07/06/2016 “From The Heart” entry HERE). I also drove that same OR section when I lived in southern OR the first 6 months of 2018.

Mozzafiato Gelato & Coffee and Old Cars, Strong Hearts (along with CD Consulting Service & CD Showcase) are relatively new members of the Elgin Area Chamber Of Commerce.
Events In All 50
As of 07/04/2021, the “OC,SH Events” section includes at least 1 event in each U.S. state. What an exciting way to celebrate the 4th of July, eh? Check out the list & plan some road trips to see people and enjoy some vintage vehicles!

Looking Ahead
Will the OC,SH schedule ever return full speed ahead? Yes, though I do not know when! I am gearing up to jump start it, so stay tuned.
