“Live from Kentucky … it WAS Saturday niiiiight!
Still a bit sick, but took a chance. Left Elgin ~10:20a. … Arrived at Bill & Ro’s ~9:30p. Route: IL RT 47 S, US 24 E, I-57 S, I-74 E, I-65 S, KY 101 S, US 31E S.
My 1989 Caprice Classic loved the drive; local radio stations played my life’s soundtrack … songs from childhood, HS, college, road trips, etc. Brought back so many memories….
Missed seeing my Nephew, who asked to see me personally when he, his parents & sis arrived home after their PA & MD trip. I’ll see him when I get back … IF I get back … this trailer … is … awesome! Jim Rockford had it right.”
