I try not to “double up” on artists from week to week, but I’m making an exception here because I had a note to feature this song next time it came up on a show playlist. This tune is considered to be his biggest hit, debuting 06/18/1988, spending 21 weeks on the charts & claiming #1. At the time, it was his 3rd straight chart topper, behind 1987’s “Shine, Shine Shine” & 1988’s “I’m Gonna Get You”. To me, this song speaks to perspective & to NOT comparing one’s life to another’s … just enjoy life & live as much as possible! What do you think?
