07/10/2010 was a Saturday; ~2:12a I posted on my personal Facebook wall the following precious memory about my Dad’s Elgin City Softball Team:
“…thrilled w/2 wins for my Dad’s “Friday Night Lights” softball team (7-2), which has won 7 in a row! To grab a share of 1st, they came from behind against the 1st-place team [which had beaten Dad’s team 20-9 earlier, sending Dad’s team to an 0-2 start] to win 13-12 in an extra inning…the only time they led. The 2nd game was a 20-5 slaughter-rule win!”
