Today’s edition includes a pair of moments in my personal history on this date…
…07/02/2011, during my “Coast-To-Coast” road trip (featured in several prior OC,SH website posts), I had a good day of driving from Amarillo TX to Denver CO via US 287 N, 87 N & I-25. Stopped in the Englewood CO area for dinner with OC,SHer MICKEY S & her husband, Dave; I hadn’t seen them since my October 2004 road trip.
…07/02/2012, I landed in the hospital with pneumonia just hours after returning from a weekend trip to a convention. I was a patient that entire week (including the 4th of July) & that hospital stay sparked a series of events highlighting an abundance of obstacles which have proven my strength: selling my family of cars & launching Old Cars, Strong Hearts 12/2012, among them. It has been an absolutely weird roller coaster ride (exciting, boring, uplifting, deflating, inspirational, tiring, invigorating, exhausting).
