Ever post a status or tell someone information only for circumstances &/or happenings to make that status or info incorrect hours, days or weeks later? In the last OC,SH entry (“Changing Direction” via THIS LINK HERE), I wrote: “Still not sure about where I will ‘land’, but the pull-lure-desire to be on the road regularly-continuously is increasing exponentially. I’m hoping to soon go ‘home’ to visit people & explore places, since I continue to work remotely for the home appraiser based in Elgin IL.” Welp, since then, I no longer have a job, making the return to IL from OR more of a failure. So, road trips are at least on hold (if not done completely), unless I can find a way to start my own business(es) or find employment which includes road tripping! Any suggestions!?

I have already been submitting applications, & I updated my resume on LinkedIn & OC,SH (seen via THIS LINK HERE). Will you please advise me of any business(es) you know hiring &/or tell employers about me? I am very willing to relocate, preferably somewhere in the southern United States, for instance along Route 66 or in the Jackson-Nashville TN corridor! I would enjoy office managing again, or better yet, managing established websites & social media for mom’n’pop places.

I have not yet returned to social media, tho maybe sooner than you think; I’ll reply to messages, posts, etc., & as noted in the previous OC,SH entry, also may create some Facebook OC,SH NETWORK-related posts. I’m considering a new page on the OC,SH website (under “About Cort” or “Photo Galleries”) for my time in Oregon. I still do not have a schedule for needed appointments (dental work plus cardiologist & nephrologist checkups), nor traveled to southeast IL to put the Antique Vehicle plates on my 1981 MC SC, but I have taken a few drives in my 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis LS.

Meantime, amongst the job search & figuring out what comes next, I am working on getting OC,SH back up & running. The last day the full schedule appeared was Tuesday, 08/22/2017, seen via THIS LINK HERE. I have some of the rest of that week (Wednesday-Sunday) typed & ready to publish; once I have the entire week ready (potentially minus the FB-exclusive “Image Archive Daily” theme, replaced by OC,SH NETWORK shares), I will schedule it to publicize, with a full jump-start re-launch sometime later.

A test variation may be included in the rest of that Wednesday-Sunday week. When last published, the “At The Heart” theme (seen via THIS LINK HERE) featured a ‘Leadoff Drive’ vehicle image & National Days for the United States. Since noting National Days had been going for over a year, dating back to the “From The Heart” theme (seen via THIS LINK HERE), I may switch that to highlighting tidbits of MY life from years past each day.

FYI: the OC,SH original collage photo with this entry features a 1976 Chevette, 1976 Cordoba, 1976 Matador & 1976 Country Squire, foreshadowing a potential article developing in my mind about “corporate fronts”.
