Wendleton arrives at Michelle’s University office door & knocks, half-whispering “Troc, it’s me”. Relaxing, Troc opens the door, lets Wendleton in & quickly closes the door. Michelle, Adam, Barry & Donnie start to become even more visibly distressed. Eager to put all 4 of them at ease, Wendleton tells them everything will be fine, including them, once he gets what he wants. Wendleton quickly ends his comments by telling them, in the meantime, they need to be moved to a new location. Without thinking, Adam bluntly asks: “What do you want?” Michelle jabs Adam with her elbow trying to get him to be quiet. Wendleton, however, seems more than happy to answer the question, telling them he is waiting for Desmond to turn over the Manchester Phoenix to him. Upon hearing that, Donnie quickly speaks up defiantly, telling Wendleton he can’t have his grandfather’s team. Wendleton coldly & swiftly responds: “Oh, but I can.” Seeing that the stranger (Wendleton) doesn’t seem to get agitated easily, Michelle takes the opportunity to tell him that her fiancé, Matthew Rockingham, nor her father, the Phoenix’s play-by-play man (Michael) will let him get away with this. Wendleton half-laughs while he tells Michelle those 2 will not be able to do anything. Noticing Wendleton has said that in a somewhat odd way, Michelle tilts her head & asks: “Why, what have you done?” Realizing his prisoners have not heard about the fatal collision, Wendleton half-compassionately tells them the news. Barry, now beginning to show some emotion, yells to nobody in particular that Wendleton must be lying. Pretending to be shocked, Wendleton coldly replies that he is, indeed, telling the truth, a story that Troc collaborates … & Adam, vividly remembering trying to shield Barry & Donnie from seeing the accident scene, realizes is most-likely true. By now, all 4 of the prisoners are showing emotion, which begins to irritate-agitate Wendleton, who orders all of them to “get yourselves together” because they must be moved NOW. Michelle flashes back to the last time she & Matthew made love & then to the car accident she caused while looking for the boys, who now, of course, were there next to her. Back to the present, Michelle (feeling very much alone with nothing more to live for) tells Wendleton to release the boys & take her only. Wendleton refuses.

Surprised at Amy’s reaction, Richie asks quizzically: “Didn’t you have anything to do with Laura’s disappearance?” Amy emphatically replies, “NO!”, explaining that, while she did have an affair with Jake, she never helped (or wanted) to get rid of Laura … that was all Erika’s doing. Not sure who to believe, Richie turns & walks out, while Amy yells after him that if he cannot believe her (Amy) over Erika, then he might as well stay out of her (Amy’s) life forever.

Having searched through the Boulevard Park & Family Center in all the “familiar” places, Erika begins walking back to her car. Her cell phone rings & she answers it, only to hear Amy’s voice on the other end demanding to meet her to talk.

Suzanne tries to ignore the weird expression she noticed form on Mack’s face, while asking him what he is doing there. Not believing his eyes, Mack, clearly ignoring Suzanne’s question, stutters a bit, & is finally able to get out: “Suzanne…!?”

Carl enters Jackie’s room. As Carl enters, Jackie looks up, relieved to see him. Carl asks about the baby, & after a brief moment of silence, Jackie answers “OK”. Not noticing Jackie’s obvious pause in answering, Carl tells her he hopes she is doing fine. Jackie replies, telling Carl she is just tired. Carl believes her. Jackie continues the conversation by reinforcing her request they keep mum about the baby for now. Carl agrees, saying it is best for everyone involved.

Upset about Olivia’s amnesia, Tammy heads out of the room & runs directly into Christine. They try for pleasantries, but quickly digress, with Christine warning Tammy the boys had better be OK. Tammy, of course, denies any wrongdoing in the boys’ disappearance, but Christine hears none of it. Camille & Bailey witness this encounter, having left Becca’s room to go back to Carl’s office (thinking he had returned there).

(Tammy’s Toyota Camry, Troc’s Chevelle, Erika’s Malibu, Richie’s VW & Amy’s Dodge Avenger)
