“Everyday”

I think it is a message we all need to hear more of & actually put into consistent practice more often. Take a listen to see if you agree. This single debuted 07/14/1984, spent 21 weeks on the country charts & claimed #1. At the time, it came in the midst of a run of 11 straight Top 10 ORB tunes & was the 2nd #1 in a stretch of 5 straight chart toppers.
#2
“What Were You Thinking”
Little Texas
[For more info about LT’s hits & history, check out the 02/20/2016 “CarTunes Saturday” entry via THIS LINK HERE & the 03/18/2017 “Smorgasbord Saturday” entry via THIS LINK HERE.] Hitting the airwaves 10/10/1992, this single spent 20 weeks on the country charts & shockingly notched at #17. It was the follow-up to their 2nd Top 10 tune, 1992’s “You & Forever & Me” (#5). After a 2nd straight Top 20 in 1993’s “I’d Rather Miss You” (#17), the band returned to the Top 10 with 1993’s “What Might Have Been” (#2). While this is 1 of my favorite songs of this band, I could NOT locate an original version online; however, this cover is dang close to the original release.
