FOR SALE: 1979 Caprice Classic sedan
Th350 Trans, Tilt, A/C, 5.7 V8 350 V8, TBI fuel injection (major upgrade for this age of vehicle, making it super reliable, drivable for anyone; think old school looks with modern performance).
I’ve “hung on” to this far too long. This will be sold, donated or junked within the next week or so. I really hate to junk or donate it because it has a lot of life left in it as a restoration project or daily driver, but it is hampering things I’d like to do yet this year. As noted ~1 month ago, it does not currently start & will need to be towed. It started & ran fine until a couple months ago when it died & would not re-start. It does not have any spark from the distributor; so far, my cousin has replaced the cap, rotor & coil. This may be a simple fix, but I do not want to mess with it anymore.
The interior is in decent shape, featuring cloth seats, headliner. Windows are old-school manual roll-up, giving you the ability to educate “young folk” about how we used to move the car windows! Dash is cracked, but still completely functional. Has upgraded radio:Â Pioneer AM-FM radio w/CD player.
Body is also in decent shape, with mainly surface rust. Though not perfect, it is a solid classic car, some spot work plus a paint job away from being beautiful once again. Originally dark blue-silver 2-tone, it is currently 3 tone, with a hood, front clip, driver’s side fender from a black 1979 CC sedan.
Depending on agreed upon price, upgraded Caprice Classic locking wire wheels & extra parts (pair of taillights, etc.) round out the package.
