OC,SH ALERT:
Last week, we reached post # 200 of the daily “At The Heart” & “Daily Vehicle Choice” themes. This week marks post # 30 of the weekly themes. Check out all 30 “Friday Flashback” entries via THIS LINK HERE.
2nd of 3 in an OC,SH original series, 1 of each of the “Big 3” (GM, Ford, Mopar), of the last 3 years of the 1960s: 1969, 1968 & 1967. All 3 are from the adult classic car coloring book from Nephew, colored by me with the colored pencils from Niece. The series, which started in last week’s “Friday Flashback” seen with more details via THIS LINK HERE, continues with this 1968 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Cobra Jet:
If you can’t read the blurb at the bottom of the image: “The success of the Mustang generated a variety of muscle car versions of Ford’s original pony car. Following the Mustang GT of 1967, the ’68 Mach 1 model shown above featured the massive 428 cubic-inch “Cobra Jet” engine rated at 335 hp. This stylish fastback Mustang also came equipped with front air dam & rear deck lid spoiler. In 1970, the Mach 1 was built with the even more powerful 429 cubic-inch Cobra Jet V-8, rated at a potent 370 hp.”
