‘Look Who’s Talking’ is a romantic comedy movie that debuted in theaters 10/13/1989, almost a month after the debut of similarly-premised “Doogie Howser MD” featured in this week’s “TV Tuesday” via THIS LINK HERE. Written & directed by Amy Heckerling, this film, produced by Jonathan D Krane, opened to mixed reviews but was surprise hit, becoming John Travolta’s most-successful film in 11 years, since ‘Grease’. That success helped launch a pair of sequels, 1990’s ‘Look Who’s Talking Too’ & 1993’s ‘Look Who’s Talking Now’, & a short-lived ABC sitcom, 1991-2’s “Baby Talk” (with Tony Danza as the voice of the baby). Along with Travolta, the cast includes Kirstie Alley, George Segal, Olympia Dukakis, Twink Caplan, Joy Boushel, Abe Vigoda, Christopher Aydon, Jacob Haines, Jaryd Waterhouse & Jason Schaller, with voices of Bruce Willis & Joan Rivers.
