Erika steers her car into the Boulevard Park & Family Center parking lot, with Richie in his car following her. She exits her car & Richie gets out of his VW. Erika is still visibly upset from her earlier encounter with Amy & becomes more upset seeing Richie there with her. Richie notices something is wrong & asks her what is going on. Not wanting to discuss it, Erika tells Richie she is fine, but Richie tells her he can tell that’s not true … & that’s not good for her baby. This causes Erika to start crying uncontrollably, which scares Richie, who reaches out to hold her. Erika gathers herself & calmly tells Richie he can go back to his precious Julia. Stunned, Richie tells Erika he wants her (Erika). Becoming further upset, Erika tells him no … he (Richie) should be with the gal he truly loves … Julia. She adds that she (Erika) is aware he (Richie) is only befriending her (Erika) to get proof Julia was not the person involved with Laura’s disappearance. Richie just stares at her, shocked.
Noticing Richie’s speechlessness, Erika (now nearly exhausted) launches into a confession. She explains to Richie: once Amy provided proof that Jake was the father of her (Erika’s) baby, Erika did not want her baby growing up without a father & she knew that would happen with Laura in the picture. So, she (Erika) paid Laura to leave town, which wasn’t all that easy to do, considering Erika had told Laura about Jake’s affair with Amy. Laura was more angry at Erika than Amy because Amy did not have Jake’s baby. Erika thought getting Laura to leave town would guarantee Jake would come to her. Only problem: Amy always kept getting in the way. By the time she (Erika) discovered she wasn’t really pregnant, she (Erika) really did want Jake for herself. But, once again, Amy caught Jake’s attention, which angered her (Erika) because Amy had provided the reason (proof that Jake was the father of Erika’s baby) to pay Laura to leave town.
Up to this point, Richie listened intently, but he interrupted Erika with 2 questions: does anyone else know all of this? & is she saying his sister (Amy) had something to do with Laura’s disappearance? Erika pauses, trying to consider her words carefully, then tells Richie Cathy knew what was happening & had repeatedly urged her (Erika) to tell the truth. After another slight pause (during which Erika pondered how to further answer the 2nd question), Erika tells Richie that yes, Amy, was involved. Richie becomes horrified.

Having explained to Wendleton & Vicky how he was going to get the boys & Michelle to the Chateau Louise (have the boys help Michelle, entrap them & take them), Troc is now at Manchester University. He spots Timothy outside Michelle’s office door & walks up to him, asking why he (Timothy) is pounding on the door. Timothy says he believes his sister is in there, but Troc tells Timothy if nobody has answered, clearly & obviously she is not there. Surprisingly, Timothy simply agrees & leaves. But, as he walks away, Timothy texts Steve, asking him to get a warrant since MU wouldn’t give him a key. Satisfied that Timothy has left & won’t be back, Troc (who only has a moment of “that was too easy” thinking) opens the office door using Michelle’s key & peeks in to be sure Michelle is still there … she is sleeping soundly. Troc quickly backs out of he office & closes the door. Troc then goes to where the boys are & finds them all huddled together.

Alicia looks Julia in the eye & tells her that she (Alicia) has not changed at all. In fact, she is still the same, sweet person she has always been. Julia looks at her in a horrified way, exclaiming that Alicia is crazier than anyone expected. Alicia says maybe so, but she is not the person who put an innocent person in jail for Jenna’s murder. Julia tells Alicia she (Alicia) has some nerve claiming to be innocent, considering her well-publicized confession. With a “stone face”, Alicia tells Julia she may have said-confessed to killing Jenna, but that does not mean she actually did.
