What catches your spying-eye radar!?

‘The Secret Invasion’ is a war film that entered theaters 09/16/1964, a day before “Bewitched” (featured in this week’s “TV Tuesday” via THIS LINK HERE) debuted. Filmed using Eastmancolor (trade name for film & processing technologies in color motion picture production done by Eastman Kodak), the movie was written by R Wright Campbell & directed by Roger Corman. While successful, this motion picture did not enjoy the same commercial & cultural success as 1967’s ‘The Dirty Dozen’, which featured a similar plot: World War II mission recruiting convicts for an extremely hazardous operation behind enemy lines. The cast of ’TSI’ includes Stewart Granger, Raf Vallone, Mickey Rooney, Edd Byrnes, Henry Silva, Spela Rozin, William Campbell, Helmo Kindermann, Enzo Fiermonte, Peter Coe, Nan Morris, Helmuth Schneider, Giulio Marchetti, Craig March, Nicholas Rend, Todd Williams, Charles Brent, Richard Johns, Kurt Bricker & Katrina Roznan.
