Intrigued, Erika opens the door & asks Julia why she wants to call a truce. Julia explains she (Julia) is horrified by Matthew-Michael’s fatal accident because it has hurt so many people & she (Julia) feels they do not need to be fighting each other over a guy. Erika listens intently, but retorts they were never in competition because Richie has made his choice. Somewhat taken aback at Erika’s reaction-response, Julia tells Erika if she (Erika) wants to believe that, fine … they will find out sooner or later what real choice Richie makes. With that, Julia turns & leaves.

Desmond tells Wendleton he had better make his point & then leave. Wendleton tells Desmond it is simple … Desmond turns the Manchester Phoenix over to him (Wendleton) or Desmond will never see the boys or Michelle alive again. Desmond says he cannot believe Wendleton could be so cruel as to threaten the boys & Michelle when he (Wendelton) has already killed 2 other much-loved people in town. Curtly, Wendleton tells Desmond in no uncertain terms he (Wendleton) had nothing whatsoever to do with the Michael-Matthew fatal collision & that whatever grief people are feeling does not concern him. Wendleton’s “speech” over, Desmond lunges at Wendleton, but Wendleton is able to grab hold of Desmond & hold him down long enough to say (in a rather rough, unfriendly tone … almost a growl) that he’d better take a friendly warning … never try to come after or at him again. Wendleton continues, telling Desmond he now has just a few days to get the paperwork for the transfer of the baseball team to him or else. Wendleton lets go of Desmond, who gets enough energy to ask: “Or else what?” Wendleton glares at Desmond, says nothing, & walks out of the mansion.

The boys (Donnie, Adam & Barry) hear footsteps & quickly “go to sleep”. Troc enters & wakes the boys up; they, of course, pretend to have just woken up from a deep sleep. Troc tells them he just came to see how they are doing. Adam snidely tells him they would be doing a lot better if they could just go home…. Troc says they will be able to do just that in time; he doesn’t intend to hurt them. Adam is about to mouth off again when Troc’s cell phone rings. Troc tells the boys to keep quiet, then answers the phone. Wendleton tells Troc they need to meet … NOW. Troc acknowledges the order, hangs up & tells the boys he will be back when he can. Adam asks about food, & Troc says, “Oh, yeah, I almost forgot.” Troc then takes out some carrots, apples, raisins & candy bars, along with some juice bottles, drops the food & drinks in front of the boys & leaves.

Steve & Timothy arrive at Michelle’s office at the University, only to find the door locked. Not really expecting any response, they knock on the door many times, to no avail. Inside the office, Michelle somewhat stirs, but she is too out of it to fully wake up. Timothy senses & is sure something is wrong, but Steve tells him they do not have time or provocation to find a set of keys now; they will have to return later. Timothy reluctantly agrees & they leave. [end day]
