What catches your spying-eye radar!?

“7th Heaven” is a family drama series (in the legacy of such shows as “The Waltons”) created by Brenda Hampton & produced by Aaron Spelling Television; it originally aired 08/26/1996 to 05/13/2007, the 1st 10 seasons on The WB & the 11th season on The CW, which replaced The WB after a merger with UPN. Intriguingly, the series (set in fictional Glenoak CA) was originally produced for FOX-TV; however, the wholesome family viewing & public service announcement nature of the show seemed better-suited for the fledgling The WB network. It’s 10th season (& final season for The WB) was billed as the series’ last, compete with a “series finale” episode. However, deliberations & talks led to the series coming back for an 11th season for then-new The CW network. For 8 straight seasons, this show, a Monday night staple, was The WB’s most-watched series, eclipsing the likes of “Charmed”; in addition, it was often cited by the Parents Television Council for its family-friendliness. The cast includes Stephen Collins, Catherine Hicks, Barry Watson, David Gallagher, Jessica Biel, Beverley Mitchell, Mackenzie Rosman, Lorenzo Brino, Nikolas Brino, Maureen Flannigan, Chaz Lamar Shepherd, Adam LaVorgna, Geoff Stults, Rachel Blanchard, Ashlee Simpson, Jeremy London, George Stults, Scotty Leavenworth, Tyler Hoechlin, Sarah Thompson & Haylie Duff.
