A multi-layered entry! You may remember the adult coloring book & coloring pencils I received as a Christmas gift, originally featured in the 01/25/2016 “Monday Night Fun” entry (via THIS LINK HERE & further featured in the 03/07/2016 “Monday Night Fun” entry (via THIS LINK HERE) & the 05/20/2016 “Daily Deals” entry (via THIS LINK HERE). Well, I “dusted it off” just in time for Easter Sunday (04/16/2017), & with color choices by Nephew James & Niece Jennalyn, I colored this scene for the 1950 Studebaker 2-door sedan. Look at the 1950s styling, along with the “old school” house
 & those outfits, oh my!

Image caption: “At the opposite end of the spectrum from the chrome-laden beauties of General Motors, Ford & Chrysler Corporation was the lineup of cars from Studebaker Motors. This smaller automobile manufacturer took a different approach to styling that was nonetheless uniquely illustrative of 1950s American cars. Although Studebaker used chrome more sparingly, they incorporated Jet-Age styling as an integral element in their smooth-flowing body design. The 1950 sedan pictured punctures the airs with its pointed aircraft-like nose. The headlights have sleek, hooded ‘eyebrows’. Studebaker’s Fifties look reflects the concepts of their chief of styling, Raymond Loewy. Perhaps the pre-eminent industrial designer of the 20th century, Lowey had a distinctive touch that graced products ranging from huge locomotives to pencil sharpeners.”
