This record (which I own on vinyl) was released in 1988 & features 11 songs. Side 1 has 1985’s “I Don’t Mind The Thorns” (#1), 1986-7’s “Don’t Underestimate My Love For You” (#1), 1986’s “Hearts Aren’t Made To Break” (#1), 1986’s “Didn’t We” (#10) & 1986-7’s “Morning Ride” (#1). Side 2 features 1987’s “Someone” (#5), 1987’s “If There’s Any Justice” (#9), 1987-8’s “Touch & Go Crazy” (#5), 1988’s “I Still Believe” (#12), 1988’s “You Can’t Fall In Love When You’re Crying” (#20) & 1984’s “God Bless The USA” (#7).

FEATURE SONG # 1:
“Didn’t We”
Released 08/09/1986, this song spent 18 weeks on the country charts & peaked at #10. At the time, this single halted a string of 4 straight chart toppers for him. His next single, “Morning Ride”, returned him to the top of the charts for the last time. I really didn’t like this song when I was younger. But, now, I understand the reflective remembrance this tune represents, & I find it much more meaningful & poignant.

FEATURE SONG # 2:
“If There’s Any Justice”
This song hit the airwaves 08/29/1987, spent 19 weeks on the country charts & reached #9, his 8th straight Top 10, a stretch sparked by the 1st of 4 straight chart toppers, 1985’s “Dixie Road” (#1). This single was beginning its chart decent when it really captured my attention. You see, my original best friend died of an asthma attack, 12/27/1987, & the opening lyrics of this song grabbed me & resonated with me to a T: “The very first moment that I wake each day your ghost just dances straight across my memory.” After I bought the record, I played this song quite a few times
.

FEATURE SONG # 3:
“Touch & Go Crazy”
Simply put, this is just 1 of those fun, catchy, double meaning tunes. It debuted 12/26/1987, spent 22 weeks on the charts & notched at #5 in early 1988. His final Top 10 tune came over 2 years later in 1990’s “Holdin’ A Good Hand” (#2). Course, when this song was popular, I didn’t really know the meaning
 now I do
