ROAD TRIP ALERT:
OC,SH is going “on the road” in 2017; at least, that’s the plan, driving my 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis. As mentioned in a “3 Specials” post (challenge, program note & query) ~2 hours ago on the Facebook page (seen via THIS LINK HERE), my current part-time job boss has set it up so I can work remotely. I’ve been testing it, but after a bout of illness (complete with a nasty cough & a severe inner-outer ear infection, both of which are still nagging me), I plan to really “put it to the test” this coming week. While I’m not sure yet where or when I will go for the “test week”, I will start a new Theme on the website specifically for my 2017 road trips to chronicle them along the way. If the mini road trip test goes well, I have very tentative itineraries in the works:
March = southwest US
(OK, TX, AZ, NM, Route 66)
April = southeast US
(KY, TN, GA, NC, SC, FL, AL, Dixie Highway)
May = northwest US
(WI, MN, OR, CO, Lincoln Highway, US Rt 6)
June = northeast US
(MI, OH, PA, NJ, MA, VA, Lincoln Hwy, Rt 6)
[Returning to similar areas later in the year.]
