At the university, Michelle snoops around, avoiding contact with people as much as possible. She appears scared & restless. She continues wandering around, not really going anywhere….

Steve can’t believe another serious collision has happened, but dispatches the appropriate police, double checking to ensure ambulances & fire trucks are en route as well. He goes back to Alicia, apologizes to her for not being able to take her to see Jackie, & has another officer escort her to the hospital. Steve heads for the collision scene.

At the scene, traffic comes to a halt & begins to snarl, while people gawk at the collision. A few try to see if they can do anything to help; sirens are heard in the background. Adam quickly turns Barry & Donnie away from the scene to shield them from finding out who is involved. While they turn to leave the area, Adam spots Wendleton’s hired help & suddenly gets nervous, noticing the guy is watching them & not the collision scene. Wendleton’s hired help quickly notices-recognizes this “fear” & starts towards the boys. Adam yells, confusing Barry & Donnie. Unfortunately, Adam’s screams are unheard amongst the din of the collision aftermath, & nobody pays attention to the boys. For the 1st time in a while, Adam absolutely freezes in his tracks, unable to guide Barry & Donnie away from the imminent danger of Wendleton’s hired help, who reaches the boys & tells them “not to worry”….

In prayer, Erika asks forgiveness for not telling the truth sooner; however, she claims she has good reasons for not being completely honest with Jake & everyone else. Cathy walks into the chapel, startling Erika. Erika asks how long she has been there. Cathy says long enough & launches into a sermonesque monologue, telling Erika her reasoning is flawed & she (Cathy) had told her (Erika) before to be honest. Continuing, Cathy notes it now may be too late to correct what is wrong. Cathy finishes by noting life is short & you never know when someone you love may be taken away from you, not yet knowing about the collision involving Matthew & Michael.

Wendleton tells Desmond he had better re-think his position. Desmond reiterates the “no info, no deal” speech. Upon hearing raised voices, Virginia walks into the room. Desmond & Wendleton are somewhat stunned to see her enter the room so forcefully. Wendleton takes advantage of the situation by being the 1st to speak, telling Desmond he might want to consult with his wife before making a final decision.

Julia leaves Erika’s, heading to go see her mother (Jackie) at the hospital. She decides to put off hunting for Erika for the time being.

Jackie cautiously asks Tammy what she overheard of her (Jackie’s) conversation with Carl. Tammy insists she heard nothing of importance-consequence. Jackie doesn’t believe her, of course, & presses for more; however, Tammy refuses her efforts & begins to leave. Jackie tells her if she wants to leave, that’s fine, but she better watch her back. Tammy whirls around & walks right up next to Jackie in her hospital bed.
