POSTS TODAY:
A dead laptop charger late late Saturday night delayed the regular posts; the schedule will publicize today in its entirety at slightly different times.  The schedule should be back at the established times tomorrow, though I have a lot of stuff to do today since I was unable to do what I usually do Saturday evening.  THUS, the image below is appropriate in more ways than 1 for me today.  They say everything happens for a reason, right?  When my laptop adaptor quit working, I thought I was being smart, Emailing to myself the text files I use to craft the posts, just before the laptop lost battery power.  My plan was to use another computer to then access the files & create the posts as usual.  Except: I forgot about the photos.  So, a frantic drive in my 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis to a local Best Buy [very impressed with my quick & easy, albeit financially painful, visit] this morning & ~30 minutes later (drive included), I had my new charger-adaptor.  As aggravated as I am with this experience, I also chuckle at many ironies & recognize some good in it as well.  BTW: a charger-adaptor should outlast the laptop, right!?

AUTOMOTIVE DAY:
Saturday, I spent several afternoon hours driving my 03 MGM to a cousin’s home to put the new sticker on the 1979 Caprice Classic rear license plate. I also drove the 79 CC a little bit; weird driving it again but rather fun, tho I still (sadly) need to sell it for many reasons…. [Later this year, I plan to get antique plates for the ’81 mc.] Then, I watched a pair of Chicago Auto Show specials: ABC 7 & 1 with John Davis. I miss going to the CAS &/or seeing people who come to town to cover it.
