If you saw my (rather dated) display featured a few weeks ago (see it via THIS LINK HERE), this should give you a better idea of exactly how I modified the display case.  Originally 1 huge case with plenty of room, designed for very large models, I altered it using plexiglass as the “2nd tier” & Tinker toys as “beams” to hold up the “floor”.  I thought it was such a good idea, I bought 2 of the display cases & modified both accordingly.  I’ve toyed with the idea of getting a 3rd, but I haven’t found them again….
