I don’t have an exact date of when this happened, though my best guess is at least 10 years ago, if not longer.  Details in my mind are sketchy, but if memory serves, this happened to someone I knew in New York.  He’d been temporarily using this 1979 Monte Carlo Landau as a daily driver during the summer.  It was, despite the looks in the photos, in pristine condition.  He was rear-ended on a busy interstate.  I remember feeling utter sadness when he sent these pics to me; he knew I loved the color of the car … & was looking forward to some plans he had for it.  But, if not mistaken, the car was totaled.
