Frank Sinatra & his 1955 Ford Thunderbird:

Sinatra was a singer, actor & producer who was a popular & influential artist of the 20th century. The Hoboken NH-native’s career started in the swing era with the likes of Harry James & Tommy Dorsey, & took off from there. After inking deals with Columbia, then Capitol, he launched his own label, Reprise Records, & released a string of successful albums. He appeared in musicals, then starred in his own radio shows on CBS before moving to CBS TV in the early 1950s. His experience with TV was not the success Sinatra had hoped it would be, though he tried again on ABC in 1957. Coming out of retirement in 1973, he appeared in a TV special aptly named “Ol’ Blue Eyes Is Back”; ~14 years later, he guest-starred in an episode of “Magnum PI” with Tom Selleck. Sinatra died of a heart attack, 05/14/1998.
