What catches your spying-eye radar!?

To top off your Thanksgiving feast, a look at 1991’s ‘Dutch’.  This movie was released 07/19/1991, way ahead of its time frame (Thanksgiving).  This road comedy-drama (a road trip from Georgia to Illinois for the holidays) was directed by Peter Faiman (his 2nd & last film) & written by John Hughes.  It opened to very poor critical reviews &, accordingly, flopped at the box office, grossing less than $5 million (vs the $17 million budget).  The cast includes Ed O’Neill, Ethan Embry, JoBeth Williams, Christopher McDonald, EG Daily, Ari Meyers, L Scott Caldwell, Kathleen Freeman & Arnold Palmer.  ~12 years later, O’Neill & Embry worked together in ABC’s reboot of TV’s “Dragnet”.
