Robert Montgomery & his Cadillac Sport Phaeton:

Montgomery was a film & TV actor, director & producer, & is the father of actress Elizabeth Montgomery. Born in Fishkill Landing (now Beacon) NY, he settled in New York City to establish a writing & acting career. He was a regular on the big screen from 1929 to 1950, with an additional appearance in 1960. In the years between his movie roles in 1950 & 1960, he hosted the TV series “Robert Montgomery Presents” (1950-7) & hosted an episode of “Navy Log” in 1958. He appeared on radio twice: a 1942 episode of “Philip Morris Playhouse” & a 1948 episode of “Suspense”. He died of cancer, 09/27/1981.
