James Stewart & his Plymouth:

Who doesn’t know Jimmy Stewart!? This actor & military officer is best known for his distinctive drawl, down-to-earthness & portraying middle-class men struggling with crises in many different classic movies. An Indiana PA native, he was the eldest of 3 children. After obtaining his private pilot (1935) & his commercial pilot (1938) certificates, Stewart flew cross-country (California to Pennsylvania) to visit his parents, navigating the way by following railroad tracks. He starred in over 92 movies, TV programs & shorts, as well as on Broadway & radio. He was due to have his pacemaker battery changed December 1996, but opted out, deciding to let nature take its course; he died 07/02/1997.
