‘Aliens’ is a military science fiction action horror (get that!?) movie that hit theaters 07/19/1986.  Written & directed by James Cameron & produced by his then-wife Gale Anne Hurd, this film ia sequel to 1979’s ‘Alien’, the 2nd installment in the franchise.  Critically acclaimed world wide & a box office smash, this movie was filmed over 10 months in London, though Cameron & Hurd had to overcome difficulties with the crew.  The movie’s famed vehicle (APC, armored personal carrier) was built on the chassis of the Hunslet ATT 77 Aircraft Towing Tractor, while the dropship was a combination of a F-4 Phamtom II & an AH-1 Cobra (used in Vietnam).  The cast includes Sigourney Weaver, Michael Biehn, Paul Reiser, Lance Henriksen, Carrie Henn, Bill Paxton, William Hope, Ricco Ross & Al Matthews, with Jenette Goldstein, Mark Rolston, Colette Hiller, Daniel Kash, Cynthia Dale Scott, Tip Tipping, Trevor Steedman, Paul Maxwell & Carl Toop.
