What catches your spying-eye radar!?

I finally saw this movie when it was featured on LAFF-TV, 08/25/2016.  ‘Adventures In Babysitting’ originally arrived in theaters some 29 years earlier, 07/03/1987, written by David Simkins & directed by Chris Columbus (directorial debut).  The film received positive reviews & was a box office success.  A pilot for a TV series was developed for CBS in 1989, but it wasn’t picked up; that show was to have starred Jennifer Guthrie, Joey Lawrence, Courtney Peldon, Brian Austin Green & Ariana Mohit.  For the movie, Valerie Bertinelli was 1 of several actresses who auditioned for the starring role of “Chris Parker”, but that character was portrayed by Elisabeth Shue.  Other cast members for the Oak Park IL-based movie include Maia Brewton, Keith Coogan, Anthony Rapp, Penelope Ann Miller, Bradley Whitford, Calvin Levels, Vincent D’Onofrio, George Newbern, John Ford Noonan, John David Chandler, Ron Canada, Albert Collins (as himself), Southside Johnny Lyon, Lolita Davidovich & Clark Johnson.
