“Mr & Mrs Smith” (no relation to the 1941 film featured last week HERE) is a show you may not have seen or even remember. This crime drama originally aired on CBS 09/20/1996 to 12/06/1996. 13 episodes were produced, but CBS pulled the plug on the show after 9 episodes. Set & filmed in Seattle WA, the series follows Mr. Smith, who works for a private security organization known as “The Factory”; Mrs. Smith is a former rival who, after her mission failed, was hired by “The Factory” & assigned to work with Mr. Smith. The cast includes Scott Bakula, who at the time, was coming off successful stints on “Quantum Leap” (1989-1993) & “Murphy Brown” (1993-6), & Maria Bello, in her 1st series with a season-long stint on “ER” coming up (1997-8). Roy Dotrice was also a series regular.
