“Coast-to-Coast” Road Trip, 06/25/2011
5 years ago this very date & day, I traveled from a friend’s home in Smithville OH to the Monte Carlo Nationals in York PA; I left OH ~6:45a US eastern & arrived in PA ~12:30p US eastern. This road trip was originally only going to be the western states. But, the death of a good friend from western IL sparked me to add PA the 1st weekend; he was also a member of the MC Club & I knew his daughters & other friends would be at the MC Nats. As you can see in this photo, some “non-Montes” were on-near the show lot, 1 of the very rare times this has happened:
That evening, I spent time with people in Carlisle PA as part of the GM Nationals before heading to Pittsburgh & the home of another friend.
