3rd of 3 parts of the 3rd fully-scripted episode, Acts 6-7

NOW: TALE CONTINUES
Synopsis for Month 2, Week 4, Day 5 (next day) & Month 3, Week 1, Days 1-5 (2 additional next days)

As I’ve mentioned, while writing the original storyline, Erika & I glossed over some parts, focusing more on the “moving” story arcs. Thus, this week’s entry covers 6 broadcast days (starting with a Friday, rounding out the week of the Thursday script from the last entry) & 3 “actual” days….

Month 2, Week 4, Day 5 (next day)
The entire episode focuses on Steve & the police department reviewing the investigation of the suspects, trying to find anything they might have missed. The last 2 acts of the episode steer them to looking into the possibility of Alicia being the murderer….

Month 3, Week 1, Days 1-3 (next day)
The investigation of Jenna’s murder reveals Alicia as the murderer. Her eventual emotional, diva-ish confession makes conviction easy. So disgusted as he listens to his daughter confess, Steve “throws the book” at her, which causes problems in his marriage to Jackie.
Desmond & Virginia officially file for custody of Donnie.
The breaking news of the end of the murder investigation quickly spreads through town, prompting Cathy to host an impromptu prayer vigil, attended by nearly everyone.

Month 3, Week 1, Days 4-5 (next day)
Michael & Jake meet.
The Rockinghams spend the day together.
Jake & Laura meet.
Just as the dust begins to settle, news breaks of Desmond & Virginia filing for custody of Donnie, claiming Carl & Christine are unfit parents. The claim includes a statement about an “unfit aunt” who Donnie should not go to either. Donnie thought he had ensured the filing would be private, but someone within the office leaked the news. The “unfit aunt” claim rocks Manchester because it surprises everyone. Nobody knows who the “unfit aunt” is, not even Christine, but Timothy has a hunch it is Tammy because of her prior slip of calling Christine “Chrissy”….
