What catches your spying-eye radar!?

“The Fall Guy” landed on ABC’s scheduled 11/04/1981 & lasted until 05/02/1986. The series centered around a Hollywood stunt man moonlighting as a bounty hunter. The “car star” was a brown-tan 2-tone Rounded-Line 1980/1982 GMC K-2500 Wideside pickup with the Sierra Grande equipment level package. The truck featured a 6” lift, 36×16.5×15” off-road tires mounted on a 15×10” chrome wagon-style wheel, custom-made chrome roll bar mounted with 4 off-road lights & a custom chrome grille mounted with 2 off-road lights & a Warn winch. Since the series used several models for filming, consistencies within individual episodes happened. The series is also notable for its frequent Hollywood celebrity cameos & the occasional in-joke referencing Lee Majors’ prior starring role in TV’s “The 6 Million Dollar Man”. The cast includes Majors (as “Colt Seavers”), Douglas Barr (as “Howie Munson”), Heather Thomas (as “Jody Banks”), Jo Ann Pflug (as “Samantha Big Jack Jack”), Markie Post (as “Terri Shannon / Michaels”) & Nedra Volz (as “Pearl Sperling”).
