Anything more scenic than a gorgeous car with an awesome backdrop? In this case, it is a 1/43 scale model 1969 Mercury Marauder X-100 by Minichamps; the background is along California Highway 60 en route to Palm Springs!

OC,SHer TOM G printed the landscape photo on heavy stock paper, scaled to the car & placed it directly behind the car. “It’s something I came up with after some trial & error with background shots taken from old magazines,” Tom explained. “I’m always on the lookout for backgrounds & have some I haven’t used yet.”
