Synopsis of Month 2, Week 2, Days 1-5 & Month 2, Week 3, Days 1-5

NOTE: In writing the original storyline, Erika & I “glossed over” some parts, deciding to focus more on the moving story arcs. As such, when I mapped out the plot lines for the 3 months of airtime (relative to my Honors Thesis), some weeks were lacking in detail. Thus, this entry rolls through 2 weeks’ worth of actual “televised” episodes.

Month 2, Week 2, Day 1 (next day)
This “Monday” episode is spent on Jenna’s funeral, held at Hope Church Of The Brethren with Pastor Cathy officiating. Scenes flip between “live” at the funeral & “flashback” scenes through the words & thoughts of those in attendance.

Month 2, Week 2, Days 2-5 (next day)
During the day after the funeral (which runs the rest of the week)…
…Steve puts Jenna’s murder investigation on the full-throttle front burner.
…Michael & Jake dig further into taking over the baseball team from Desmond.
…Jake & Laura are in minor scenes.
…miscellaneous extraneous scenes for the other townspeople: Desmond & Virginia & Donnie, Matthew & Michelle, Richie & Julia, Carl, Amy, Christine, Jackie & Alicia (at her restaurant), Cathy, Timothy, Erika & Adam & Barry, & Tammy.

Month 2, Week 3, Days 1-5 (next day)
The 2nd day after the funeral (which runs the entire week) sees…
…Desmond & Virginia do a little digging of their own into their rights regarding filing for custody of Donnie themselves. During this pre-trial research, they uncover the fact that Tammy is Christine’s sister.
…Jenna’s murder investigation continue.
…Desmond forced to fight the takeover attempt, not knowing who is behind it.
…minor scenes with the rest of the townspeople: Matthew & Michelle, Richie & Julia, Carl, Amy & Erika & Tammy, Christine, Steve & Jackie & Alicia, Michael & Cathy & Adam & Barry.
