’10 Things I Hate About You’ hit big screens 03/31/1999 & was #2 at the box office its opening weekend, behind ‘The Matrix’, & became a moderate financial & critical success. The screenplay, written by Karen McCullah Lutz & Kirsten Smith, is a modern take on Shakespeare’s “The Taming Of The Shrew”. Many of the scenes were filmed on location at Stadium High School & a house in the Proctor District in Tacoma WA. The cast includes Julia Stiles, Heath Ledger, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Larisa Oleynik, Larry Miller, Andrew Keegan, David Krumholtz, Susan May Pratt, Gabrielle Union, Daryl Mitchell, Allison Janney, David Leisure, Greg Jackson & Kyle Cease.
