‘You’ve Got Mail’ arrived in theaters 12/18/1998. (Wonder what the title would be of a similar movie today? See this week’s “Monday Madness”!) Critically acclaimed, this movie (written by Nora & Delia Ephron) was a box office smash. It was the 3rd pairing of Tom Hanks & Meg Ryan, who, in this motion picture (filmed primarily in New York City’s Upper West Side), portrayed 2 people in an online romance, unaware they are also business rivals. The cast also featured Parker Posey, Jean Stapleton, Greg Kinnear, Steve Zahn, Heather Burns, Dave Chappelle, Dabney Coleman, John Randolph, Deborah Rush, Hallee Hirsh, Jeffrey Scaperrotta, Cara Seymour, Peter Mian, Sara Ramirez, Jane Adams, Michael Badalucco, Veanne Cox, Reiko Aylesworth & Chris Messina.
