4 months before I embarked on my September 2009 Route 66 journey, a fellow Route 66 enthusiast stopped to see me during his own cross-country journey. Jan, aka Wombat, was quite an interesting person, with an unmatched view of the world & an awesome sense of humor. I learned a lot in the few hours he visited. A year or 2 later the Saturn in this picture was replaced with a brand new Corvette, which he picked up at the factory in Bowling Green KY.
