I know I promised the 2nd of 3 images of the 1985 Chevrolet “shoebox special” SS in this slot (see last week’s “Monday Night Fun”), but a look at “childhood cereals” instead. That 2nd image will be posted next week. Meantime, for Valentine’s Day, my Nephew gave me the Frosted Flakes, my Dad the Fruity Pebbles & my Mom the Apple Jacks:

I grinned when I opened the gift (yes, he wrapped them); I can’t remember the last time I’ve had any of these 3, nor can I remember the last time I’ve seen a commercial for any of them. (I ate the Frosted Flakes for breakfast this morning, & they were grrreat!) Seeing them sparked quite a number of childhood memories of commercials &, of course, breakfasts. So, do these do the same for you … or do you still “indulge” in these delicious cereals!? What are your favorite cereals from your childhood!?
