Restoration Project, We initially spent about 1500 on the paint job yellow with black accent and about 1000 to get the engine running. We have owned this classic car for about 10 years. It was going to be a family restoration project. We had it painted then didn’t ever have the time to proceed any further. This winter we got the engine running since it had not been started for several years. We were told when we bought the car that the engine was a 383 cu. inch with a Carter performance package. The original transmission had a dash mounted push button control, but the previous owner had changed to a floor shift. The shift handle is marked B&M. The transmission needs work. When the car was painted, the chrome trim was not put back on. The chrome pieces have been stored in the trunk ever since. Some of the dash board pieces are also in the trunk. The entire interior will need to be replaced. We do not know the mileage since the odometer is not in the dashboard. Please call or email me with any questions or to request additional pictures.
