#1 “Thanksgiving Prayer” | Johnny Cash
If you watched CBS’ “Dr Quinn, Medicine Woman” (01/01/1993 – 05/16/1998), you may remember this song. From Season 3, Episode 10 (originally airing 11/19/1994), this song was written specifically for the episode by the show’s producer, Josef Anderson. Cash sings it as Kid Cole (a role he portrayed in 4 episodes during the series run) to his real-life wife June Carter Cash (portraying his then-TV wife Sister Ruth). Series regulars Jane Seymour (as Dr Quinn) & Joe Lando (as Byron Sully) are also in the room.

#2 “Thank You For The Music” | ABBA
This single was officially released 11/06/1983 to promote the band’s last album, a compilation effort of the same name, though the song had appeared as the B-side to the band’s 1978 release “Eagle”, from the band’s 1977 album (5th studio) ‘ABBA: The Album’. This single peaked in early 1984 at #17 in Ireland, #23 in Netherlands & #33 in England; it capped a career that spanned 1972-1984, including many memorable tunes such as 1976’s “Dancing Queen” & 1978’s “Take A Chance On Me”.
