The 1st 2.5 years of my radio show, I’d had WBKE DJs & friends record segues to play between songs. During Jan Term 1996, I interned at Elgin IL’s WRMN 1410 AM. Brad Bohlin, 1 of the personalities at the time, had a voice that just resonated, so I asked him to record some segues, & he agreed. That last semester of my radio show was the most fun & went very quick. I really hated saying goodbye the weekend before finals. I remember asking if I could go on 1 last time the Saturday after finals, before graduation, but that was not a possibility. 1996 “Saturday Evening Mostly Country Music Show” (1 of the 5 brand new pages!) features some tidbits & what I played each weekend February – May 1996.
