Released 09/12/2004 (a day over 11 years ago!) as the 2nd single from Nelly’s 4th album ‘Suit’, this song peaked at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 & #34 on the Adult Contemporary charts in early 2005. Internationally, it claimed #1 in Australia, Ireland, New Zealand & England, while reaching the Top 10 in 7 other countries. Written by Nelly, Jayson Bridges & James Hargrove, the song features country artist Tim McGraw.

Originally not meant as a single nor a duet, this song garnered a very strong response after Jason Aldean & Kelly Clarkson performed it during the 44th annual Country Music Association awards, 11/10/2010. Radio station demands the very next day prompted the record company to make a single version available, which then made appearances on Aldean’s album ‘My Kinda Party’ & Clarkson’s album ‘Stronger’. In early 2011, the song peaked at #31 on the Billboard Hot 100, #3 on the Adult Contemporary & #1 on the country charts. This song was rather popular across many radio genres during my 2011 “Coast-to-Coast” road trip.
