Remember this series!?

Similar to “Friday Night Lights”, FOX’s “Party Of 5” was 1 of those best-shows-you-didn’t watch. Despite being critically acclaimed, this series suffered from low ratings; however, in 1996, it won the Best Drama Golden Globe Award. Originally airing on FOX from 09/12/1994 to 05/03/2000, this show launched careers of Neve Campbell, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Lacey Chabert, Matthew Fox, Scott Wolf & Jacob Smith. Set in San Francisco CA, the 5 siblings take over running the family restaurant when they become orphans (parents killed by a drunk driver); over the 5 seasons, the show tackled various issues, including cancer, alcoholism & domestic violence. The series generated a spin-off, “Time Of Your Life”, which followed Sarah in her move to NY; that show, however, only lasted 1 season.
