Remember this series!?

“Quantum Leap” originally aired 5 seasons, 1989-1993. Created by Donald P Bellisario (“Magnum PI”, “JAG”, “NCIS”), this series starred Scott Bakula (“Designing Women”, “Murphy Brown”, “Mr & Mrs Smith”, “Star Trek: Enterprise”, “Men Of A Certain Age”, “Looking”, “NCIS: New Orleans”) as Dr. Sam Beckett & Dean Stockwell (“JAG”, “1st Monday”, “Battlestar Galactica”) as Al, Sam’s “only guide on this journey, an observer from his own time who appears in the form of a hologram”. Each episode mixed science fiction, history, social commentary, humor, drama, romance in a memorable way helping the series to be named one of TV Guide’s “Top Cult Shows Ever”. The theme (see video) was written by Mike Post (“The Rockford Files”, “The A-Team”, “Hill Street Blues”, “LA Law”, “Magnum PI”, “NYPD Blue”). This past Memorial Day (05/25/2015), the series was resurrected in a marathon event on COZI-TV. Then, it started in its regular time slot 2 days later, Wednesdays, 7p-9p US central.
