Our Lady Peace formed in 1992 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada; the band consists of Raine Maida, Duncan Coutts & Steve Mazur. Released 04/05/2002 as the lead single from the band’s 6th album ‘Gravity’, this song peaked at #44 on the Billboard Hot 100, #7 on the Modern Rock Tracks, #26 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks & #19 on the Pop Songs charts. It claimed #1 in Canada & was used during the end credits of the 2005 movie ‘White Noise’. Other successful singles: 1994’s “Starseed” & 1997’s “Clumsy”.

Owl City is an electronica project created in 2007 in Owatonna MN by singer-songwriter Adam Young. This song debuted 07/14/2009 as the lead single from the project’s debut album ‘Ocean Eyes’; this single claimed #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 & Adult Top 40 charts while notching at #11 on the Adult Contemporary & #44 on the Christian Songs charts. Internationally, it claimed #1 in Australia, Denmark, Ireland, Netherlands, Sweden & England, while peaking in the Top 10 of 18 additional charts. The project’s only other widely successful tune thus far is “Good Time” (with Carly Rae Jepsen).
Both great songs. Our Lady Peace had some other good ones but none come to mind right now. You should feature Spacehog. They stayed in the same hotel as me one spring break.
