Aaron Neville is a New Orleans LA-native singer-musician. This song, originally recorded by The Main Ingredient (1972), has become Neville’s most-known tune. Released 08/15/1991 as the 1st single from his 1st studio album ‘Warm Your Heart’, this song peaked at #8 on the Billboard Hot 100, while claiming #1 on the Adult Contemporary chart. He has notched 2 other Adult Contemporary chart toppers, both duets with Linda Ronstadt: 1989’s “Don’t Know Much” & 1990’s “All My Life”.
