Mr. Big formed in Los Angeles CA in 1988, consisting of Eric Martin, Paul Gilbert, Billy Sheehan & Pat Torpey. While the band has been active & popular for over 2 decades, many consider them technically a ’1-hit Wonder’. This song, their only majorly successful tune, hit the airwaves 11/25/1991 as the 2nd single from their 2nd album ‘Lean Into It’. In 1992, the song easily claimed #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, while reaching #11 on the Adult Contemporary chart. Elsewhere, it topped 11 other charts.
