Hinder is a band that formed in Oklahoma in 2001 by Cody Hanson, Austin Winkler & Joe Garvey. This song was released 07/24/2006 & became their breakthrough hit; it was popular during my October 2006 road trip, & 1 of the times I heard it that sticks in my mind was a late night arrival in the Lenexa KS area. This single peaked at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100, #18 on the Adult Contemporary & #8 on the Modern Rock Tracks charts; internationally, it claimed #1 in Australia & New Zealand. [In 2007, country artist Jack Ingram covered this song.]

Jack Ingram is a Houston TX-native singer-guitarist. So far, this song puts him in the ‘1-hit wonder’ category; it debuted 10/15/2005, spent 35 weeks on the charts & claimed #1 in early 2006.
