Tom Cochrane, a member of the Canadian Music Hall Of Fame, is best known for this song, which he wrote. Released 09/20/1991 from his album ‘Mad Mad World’, this song claimed #1 in Canada & reached #6 on the United States Billboard Hot 100. This single also reached #2 in Australia & New Zealand, while notching at #23 in Sweden. In 2006, Rascal Flatts’ version (from the “CARS” movie soundtrack) peaked at #18 on the country charts & #7 on the Billboard Hot 100. Natalie Cole, the daughter of Nat King Cole, rose to success in the mid 1970s as an R&B artist. This song, her debut single, was released 04/13/1975 from her debut album ‘Inseparable’. It reached #6 on the Billboard Hot 100 & claimed #1 on the R&B chart; it also helped her win the Best Female R&B Vocal Performance Grammy & the Best New Artist Grammy. It sparked a string of 1970s success for her, including 4 more R&B chart toppers: 1975’s “Inseparable”, 1976’s “Sophisticated Lady”, 1977’s “I’ve Got Love On My Mind” & 1977’s “Our Love”.

Her next major successful tune was 1989’s “Miss You Like Crazy”; then, in 1991, she released a version of “Unforgettable” as a duet with her Dad.
